Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 2.79 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right, the helmet decorated with two stars. Rev. VIRTV-S AVGG / P - R / R T Campgate with open doors and four turrets. Bikić-Do pl. VIII, 32. RIC 190 var. (differing helmet). Extremely rare, one of only three known examples. Some areas of corrosion and the obverse weakly struck, otherwise, very fine.

This piece is the only one in private hands of three known examples from officina T, the others held in Bologna and from the Bikić-Do Hoard.
